R-168-5KNE  HF manpack radio station
R-168-5KNEPurpose: The R-168-5KNE HF manpack radio station provides clear and encrypted (with a built-in device) radio communications in the tactical command link radio networks under harsh ECM environment.
Component parts: transceiver, microphone-telephone handset, ASh-2.4 antenna, VN/NL-5KN universal antenna – “inclined vibrator – inclined path” with mast appliances, 10 NKGTs-6-2 type battery, SPTA-S set, rucksack for carrying purposes, in-line documentation set. At customer’s wish the complete delivery set may be supplemented with charger UZM-6-1 and device for input of radio data UVRD-O.
Types of operation: SSB modulation at upper side band, suppressed carrier and analogue (telephone) data (J3E); SSB modulation with suppressed carrier and digital data at use of modulating subcarriers (J2D); frequency telegraphy for automatic reception (F1B)
Modes of operation: simplex, double-frequency simplex, frequency hopping (FH), adaptive communication (AC), listening watch.
