ARB-MKS and ARB-MKS-01 emergency radio beacons of the «COSPAS-SARSAT» system

ARB-MKS
Purpose: The ARB-MKS and ARB-MKS-01 radio beacons are intended for detection of position of the object in distress on the sea with high accuracy and transmission emergency data with the aid of International satellite search and rescue system COSPAS-SARSAT.
The
ÀRB-̀ÊS and ÀRB-̀ÊS-01 beacons meet the requirements of the GMSSB, SOLAS convention and IMO resolutions. They have the Marine Register of Shipping Certificate, Russian River Register Admission and the RF Ministry for Transport Certificate of ship equipment type approval.
Emergency radio beacons are provided with:
• satellite transmitter of distress signals;
• homing transmitter operating at a frequency of 121.5 MHz for leading of search and rescue services to emergency position;
• light beacon operating in the darkness;
• unit for manual and automatic release and cut in;
• it complies with any format of the COSPAS-SARSAT message;
• it allows easy change of the identifier with use of any PC;
ÀRB-̀ÊS-01 differs from the ÀRB-̀ÊS for deficiency of a built-in radar transponder;
• unit for manual and automatic release of the ARB-
̀ÊS and ÀRB-̀KS-01 beacons, unlike its analogs, does not require replacement during all service life.
